Sci-Fi Short

0 min read
Well I have begun yet another short story that is science fiction related. I have a great start and it is beginning to flesh it out. I am still up in the air about the title but I am sure that it will work itself out soon. I plan on this only being about 20 pages but it may get longer. Keep an eye out here, I might post it or send it to others if you want to read it. PC1

I am working on learning Inform 7 and the language to make my own Text Adventures. This is pretty cool because I grew up playing so many of these Text Adventures like the Zork Series on my Commodore 64. Another of my favorites was Borrowed Time but it had some graphics also. There is a lot that goes into learning this so it will take a while but I know that I can do this and share some of my new games that I will be creating.

If you could see your favorite anime made into a game what would it be and why type of game style would it be?

Well, it took me quite a while, but I finally got some of the papercraft arcade machine templates I've been working on in the past uploaded to my gallery! Check 'em out when you get the chance! I've got more on the way at some point in the future, too. Feel free to download and make them yourself for your arcade! I'd like to see what you do with them.
Very good work. I have not made any of these in a long time. Perhaps you have inspired me to add your work to the arcade. I will send you some shots if I get around to it. Thanks for showing me these. I had not really thought about making some of the ones that you had made. I have not thought about Cadash in a while.
Hi, I been papercrafting too.

Check these:

You are by far much better at it than I am. Great job on all your templates.
I draw them on paper, then print and cut over and over till I get them right.
Hello. I don't know where to start but oh well,
i don't know if you take request or what, but i freaking love your work as far as arcade machine papercraft and i'd really like to have a papercraft of The Simpsons arcade machine from way back.

Thanks in advance for reading that, bye. :)
iGREKKESS has a Simpsons template in their gallery. There's also an older template in the Paper Arcade album on Flickr, but the angle on the control panel is way off. iGREKKESS' model is more accurate. I've also got a TMNT and a Sunsetriders template in my gallery that can also be used as a base for making other models that use the 4-player Konami cabinet. Mine is based on the Paper Arcade one but I "redrew" the control panel section using a diagram for building an accurate reproduction TMNT cabinet for reference. Check out the Paper Arcade album, as well as WayoftheRodent.com, and iGREKKESS and MisterBill82's galleries on DeviantArt for more great models! The Outrun86 site has templates for Out Run and Space Harrier cockpit cabinets that were originally published in SEGA'a Dorimaga magazine in Japan. (though you might have to search through the site for a while to find them) Matica.com has several pinball machine templates available to download, and Konami USED to have several templates for some Japanese games and a game center diorama for their "Desktop Arcade" collection on their website. They're not on their site anymore, but I've got the templates archived so, unless it's against DeviantArt's policies, I'd like to upload them into my gallery at some point so others can have another chance to get them.
